Job Brief
Responsible for ensuring GMP compliance and adherence to Good Engineering Practices in all utility and maintenance activities, including operation, preventive and breakdown maintenance of Utility, HVAC, and Water Systems as per SOPs, operation and monitoring of BMS/EMS systems. calibration and validation activities, and coordination with teams and external agencies to ensure equipment reliability and safety
Job Description
o Responsible for ensuring GMP compliance and following the Good Engineering Practices during work activities and during services.
o Operation & Maintenance (Preventive & Breakdown) and monitoring as per the SOP & related documentation for the utility equipment.
o Operation and Maintenance of Utility Equipment, Water Purification system, and HVAC system
o Also has to take care of the operation and maintenance of Remaining utilities like Chillers, hot water pumps, cooling towers, Boilers, Water systems, Fire pump house, Electrical systems, safety compliance activities, and Building maintenance of the non-manufacturing area
o Operation and maintenance of HVAC & Compressed air system. Also responsible for filter cleaning, whole plant ACs monitoring & maintenance, cooling systems, small projects, improvement, new initiatives, energy saving, modification, automation, and new process developments. etc. of the site
o Operation and Monitoring of the Building management system (BMS) and Environmental monitoring system (EMS) in shift.
o Support in other utility equipment, including Fire Hydrant and Firefighting equipment’s
o Assisting in HVAC, BMS, QC, Process & Utility Equipment’s Calibration, validation, and qualification.
o Co-ordination & support to perform calibration of instruments and equipment used in production, quality control, and utilities with the external agency
o Maintain calibration schedules and ensure timely execution of calibration planned activities and review.
o Perform initial calibration of newly installed instruments and equipment as per approved protocols and coordinate with validation and QA teams for instrument qualification and approval
o Co-ordination with cross-functional departments
o Report to concerned people in case of discrepancies and accordingly take corrective action
o Co-ordination & support for the Calibration activities through approved External Agencies
o Ensuring proper maintenance and monitoring of critical and non-critical spare parts used to minimize equipment downtime.
o Implementing energy conservation projects without compromising compliance or production performance
